Interblock Luxury Gaming Products offers an extensive portfolio of high-end electronic table games for casinos worldwide, positioned within the luxury segment and known for exceptional quality and innovation.
Interblock Online was a strategic project that sought to connect these physical gaming experiences through digital media (mobile, tablets, desktops), enabling players to enjoy the same authenticity and tactile feel they know, and expect, from casino floors, while also engaging new audiences through attractive visuals and intuitive gameplay.
The specific trait for our product in the desktop environment was to allow hybrid interaction with both mouse and touch, since these viewport sizes can be used by both types of devices. The larger screen real-estate allowed us to expand across the screen and add more flavor to the visuals and experience, while still having the same design components as for the mobile viewports. This greatly streamlined the development process, but also allowed the design team to increment the revisions faster, and be less prone to inconsistencies.
Since the design process focused on mobile-first approach, many of the early teething problems were already ironed out at this stage.
